It’s Emotionally Overwhelming…
If you have been trying to conceive for a while or have perhaps been through some fertility treatment which hasn’t worked, you might be wondering how to deal with infertility; the pressure, the stress, the roller coaster of emotions. Friends getting pregnant, family members asking questions, the body clock ticking. It can feel like a chemical cocktail of stress & anxiety that starts to impact on every part of your life. So you might be starting to ask yourself how can I deal with infertility in a more helpful way? How can I navigate the lack of control, the unpredictability the ongoing wearing down of this journey. Well you are in the right place.
You can navigate this journey differently…
I have supported clients on their pathway to parenthood for over 12 years and I bring a wealth of experience to help clients to better deal with infertility. I also have extensive training and professional insight into how best to support your emotional wellbeing on this journey.
It is absolutely within you to be able to navigate this journey in a different way, where you can feel more emotionally in control, where you can bring in a greater sense of calm, where you feel more resilient and where you can have a greater sense of agency & hopefulness on your pathway forward. How do I know you can do this, because I have supported hundreds of others just like you.
Supporting Your Mind & Your Fertility…
When I was training to be an acupuncturist over 13 years ago, one of the first things I learnt was how Traditional Medicine had recognised for over 2000 years, the complete interconnectedness of our emotional wellbeing and our physical health. So by tending to our emotional health we also bring far reaching benefits to our body. This is something that has only latterly been accepted by Western Medicine.
In traditional oriental medicine the organs of the body are viewed differently, with our organs being linked to different emotional attributes. These connections feel instinctively insightful, and as a fertility coach this is useful knowledge to share with clients. For example the heart is not only seen as a physical pump but also the seat of our emotions and central to our fertility. Traditional acupuncture even recognises an energetic connection between the heart and the uterus.
How I can help you to deal with infertility…
So when you are trying to deal with infertility and are looking at your fertility health, taking time to look after your emotional wellbeing is so important, and that’s where my work as a fertility coach comes in. I support my clients to understand more about their emotional wellbeing, and provide a nurturing space to look at the emotional landscape of their lives, how to work with their emotions as opposed to feeling overwhelmed by them, and how they can increase their resilience and emotional wellbeing, step by step, every day. Striving for perfection is draining. Making time to do things that bring calmness, a little joy and a sense of peace are key.
My approach not only helps you to feel better, it also supports the connection between your mind and body, and this is never more important than when trying to conceive. If you would like to stay in touch and receive free insights, tips and special offers please sign up to my newsletter
